Bad
I was in the art show this year and it was awful. It was put together very poorly and I sold NOTHING. I was told that there were many people interested in my art but due to the show’s inability to collect money on the first day, I gained no sales. Waste of money.

Worst. Con. Ever.
Since changing the venue, the space has dramatically decreased as well as the attendance. But even then they didn't decrease the table prices. They were still unnecessarily high. We lost money from the table since so few people attended this year. Staff were not helpful. Lots of rushing around and they couldn't find most table assignments on the first day. Will never return.

Bad hotel but a good convention
This was my first year doing Anime North Texas and overall it was a good convention. I will be returning again next year.

PROS:
Low amount of vendors/arts to attendees.
Staff was very responsive.
Made table early on Friday.

CONS:
The hotel caused many issues. I was turned away from the front to unload, but got yelled at when I went to the docks to unload. So I had to go back to the front because there was no other entrance. The hotel turned off the escalators before the convention started. The only parking within a few blocks was the hotels valet parking. Due to the tree lighting downtown the streets were closed, but once the convention was over they demanded everyone leave even though the only parking nearby was in their valet parking which left many people stranded there until the roads were reopened. The hotel threatened to call the police because of all the loitering people, but with people literally unable to get their cars from the hotel valet parking it was completely ridiculous.

Not sure if this was the con or the hotel's fault, but the tables were half the width of a normal table. I had to rearrange my set up and was unable to display everything due to the skinny table. Next year I will bring my own table which is luckily allowed.

On Sunday there was a Christmas Tree Lighting down town and all the streets were shut down before the convention ended. Because of this I decided to leave early.
