C4 (Cherry Capital Comic Con)

I'm fairly local and used to do this con every other year. (I think I did it three times) it is very well run, very cozy, but small. I always made my money back, but not much more. That has nothing to do with the convention itself, and more to do with the population of the area.

I've gone for 4 years to C4. They've grown a lot in that time span and try to improve every year. Staff is super friendly and helpful, lots of volunteers running around checking up on people. The venue has a cafe and restaurant on location so it's easy to grab drinks and food through out the day.

Main venue is split in half with artist alley on one side and vendors on the others. Attendance flow seems to be pretty steady with not a whole lot of dead corners to get stuck in. Turn out average for a small con, I never have any trouble making my money back even if I don't always take a lot of profit home.

Overall, I really like this con! It's got great atmosphere, staff, and artist vendors who go to it.

My first ever comic con. Artist Alley was kind of shoved in the back corner, but there was a steady stream of people. There was plenty of space for storage behind the AA tables, although getting out from behind your table was kind of tricky.

The venue was wonderful as it had a coffee shop in it and good bathrooms. A little out of town though.

The volunteers really made it the best. There was a volunteer routinely walking around AA with bottles of water, offering to watch the table for bathroom breaks or if we needed anything. So far, they have the best volunteers ever!
