April 6, 2019 - April 6, 2019 | Table Cost:
Alex
Concessions: Extremely affordable- multiple vendors chose to eat here. Food looked and smelled good.
Staff: Super friendly! Jeff and his wife were always easy to find, they waited at the door to ensure everyone was checked in and knew where to go. Jeff walks around during day to request feedback from attendees. They are always receptive, are quick to answer questions, and remember prior attendees to send out applications for the next year.
Layout: Very easy to navigate. Everything is in one room, tables are laid out to make isle ways for attendees to walk. One 8 foot table and 2 chairs are provided, and many chose to bring extra tables to fit within their allotted 10x10 square. Because everything is in one room it is difficult there did not appear to be any separation of artist/vendor.
Attendance: More artist/vendor applications than ever before, Less advertising, and drastically low attendance this year (300 vs normal 500- odd since there is no entry fee?). The increased artist/vendors and decreased attendee count was a really unfortunate mix this year- with many complaints of not getting their booth fee back. Time was adjusted from 10am-5pm (2023) to 11am-6pm- I thought this would have increased attendance but it did not.
Affordability: $40 for a 10x10 space (2024) with one 8 foot table and 2 chairs. My items range from $1-$25, I made $114 for a profit of $74, in years prior I made $250+

If I were local I'd attend again, but as for travel costs it won't be on my list for awhile.
