Daku Con

First time tabling here in the 2023 AA, small and fun R18 con! Pros, felt very relaxed. The staff were helpful, attendees were chill, and setup and takedown was smooth. Really enjoyed the adults only aspect and art.

Cons, I felt the $200 table cost was a little too high for the size and attendance, and there were a weirdly high number of empty tables in the back which made the layout awkward for both attendees and neighboring tables. I still had fun chatting and made some profit. I'd come back next year if I'm still in the area

A pretty chill event, plenty of hentai and art to go around! Enjoyed the artist alley and dealers around the same area, but felt it could of been in the same room with how many tables where empty at the convention center artist alley. Staff was lovely, kept strict on the 18+ areas, which is super important. I did really well, better than the last starfest, and signed up for daku next year.

highly suggest bringing your own food and waterbottles, but they do have a mcdonalds and a few fast food places nearby.

This is very much an adults only nerdy convention! Lots of awesome cosplay and art (and yes, so much hentai) and everyone was friendly and helpful. Staff were patrolling the alley and making sure people were comfortable. Looking forward to next year!
