If Table Tops are your jam
Sleepy Con, but I LOVE it! One of the best neighborhood tabletop gaming expos for both vendors and audience. The show is consistently well run and organized with an emphasis on the community and creating a place for local gamers to come together for a weekend of fun. Don't expect to make a fortune at this event, but look forward to spending time with familiar faces and learning what's new in the local crafter scene. The games are fun too. They've got a con suite and attentive volunteers to do food runs for you while you're at your table. The show is on the smaller side, so you'll have no problem making lots of new friends. Great show for talking to artists one-on-one. Steady small business throughout the day, most vendors at least make their table money back. This one is kind of tradition for me, so I'll keep going! Staff is laid back and easy to talk to. If you have any concerns, they are happy to address them. All around welcoming environment. I haven't been to any of the Gamestorm parties, but I've heard those are fun too! I really enjoyed their video game room set up this year with being able to try VR worlds and playing Para Para Paradise after the hall closed. There is still lots of gaming going on after hall hours too, so even the artists can enjoy the con. If you're in the Portland area and are looking for a table top, card game, and video game convention, this is one cool little show.
