Would go again!
Decently big convention with a very big dealers/artist room.
Even so, customers come in hugely-varying waves. There are times there is NO ONE in our row, sometimes there is a huge crowd.
This was one of my best performing cons ever simply because it's open 24/7 and for four days. I only stayed from 11-10 and that was good enough for me. No need to throw away your sleep and stay the whole time, after 9 pm it thins out considerably.
I'm an anime/video game artist and I'm happy to say that this con was a success! Would definitely apply again.

One of my favorites
Attended this con for a few years before selling for the first time, can't recommend it highly enough. It's a massive con that's only growing every year, and fans are crazy passionate and on the older side (avg age probably mid 20s) so they have income to spend and appreciate quality. Only downside is that there's a definite "tourist" wave around Friday afternoon - Saturday morning where everyone's wallets start hurting and they start to sight-see without intent to buy. Thursday and Sunday were crazy though.

Staff were very open, informative, and clear, although sometimes it took a while to get responses to emails. The convention center is somewhat isolated (its basically a lovely downtown area with tons of restaurants but built solely around the Gaylord) so get a hotel room at the Gaylord if you can (but they can go crazy fast).

Only point of annoyance is that it's 24 hours which is a bummer if you're running the table solo (but I heard stories about people making a killing because people stumbled in drunk at 4 am).

DO IT!
One of the bigger local cons in the area. I cannot recommend this one enough for dealers or artists. The con gets an attendance somewhere in the 20-30,000 range, and they're hungry to buy. Peak hours seem to be from around 11-2, but in a 24 hour venue, sales will filter in at all hours, including the ever-desirable drunk sales. The con is juried, so it's not the easiest to get into, but well worth it if you can. If you make even decent sales, you're going to make back a multiple of your $125 table cost.

Love this show!
I simply cannot say enough about this show. The venue is GORGEOUS, the staff are quite lovely, and I love their layout of lining the room with large vendor booths and making the middle more tables/musicians/guests/artists. Their crowd is definitely a more "mature" crowd. Most people are over 21. Anyone that's younger is still mostly over 18 or there with their parents. The crowd is generally respectful and nice. Since they allow drinking on the con floor (older crowd like I said) its something to keep in mind when applying. You can get drunk people at your booth, its bound to happen. Another thing that might turn people off is the room is open 24 hours. That being said, you can close your booth down whenever and however you want. The security is pretty nice and I've only ever had 1 item stolen when I wasn't there and it was my fault for leaving it out to be quite honest. It lives up to its name "Music And Gaming Fest", everyone is there to drink, play video games, shop, listen to the awesome bands/concerts, and be generally merry. I can't wait to go back!
