Patches and Pins Festival Orange County

I was really excited about this con. Attended one months prior. I liked what I saw, figured it would be a great first con to sell at for me. So I bought a vendor spot. Then a few weeks later they let me know the day changed. I was like dang, I have an event already booked for the day you changed it to. Can I get a refund? Mind you I told this to them the moment they let us know the day changed. Around 2 months before the convention day. My refund request gets ignored. I contact them over and over on all different platforms. Finally after almost a month of getting nowhere I had to issue a refund with my bank. Really shady how they just kept ignoring me. If I had payed with debit I would have been out all that money. Seeing some of the other reviews gave me more perspective on whats going on. The owner is not professional. It's really unfortunate.

Went to this event as a goer when it first started in LA. It was so fun that I decided to apply for a table.
The first two emails were kind and professional. They took my credit card info, I asked them if I had a booth and they said “Yes!” so I took their word. That was the last email I’ve received from them. Then when they were sending out placement information, they didn’t send it to me and a few other vendors. They ignored my emails, up to the day before, day of, and after. They made vague posts about me and other vendors they were doing this to on Instagram, calling us “wannabes” and “we aren’t kanye west, we ain’t special” for questioning them. The event organizer even did a Instagram live story to tell us they weren’t going to respond cause “we ain’t special and they’re small business owners too” and argued with the chat. They deleted those posts off their Instagram.
Apply if you want, you’ll be lucky if they want to include you in their “special club”.

Ricky, the con runner, is a terrible businessman. We book a booth for their show (MARCH 2020) then the pandemic hit. He never refunded our booth and used other vendor money to open up his brick and mortar store in Santa Ana! He plays favorites among artist and never help small artist in promotion. DO NOT GIVE ANY MONEY TO THIS ORGANIZER!!!
