Great for small artists
I did pretty well at this con. It was around 95 for a table which is a bit pricy for it. It has around 200 attendees (just eyeballing it). The location of the con is quite pretty and has a lot of scenery if you wanna take a break. Motels around its are ok too though the laurel resort has rumors of bedbugs and is a little old in general. The age range of customers is teenagers most of the time. The staff here though are such nice people! They do like helping so if you have any concerns they will get to u. I did have a little problem with how my table was set up. They pushed it trying to make a straight line and it caused a fire hazard so we pushed it back.

They're learning from their mistakes
2016 was pretty bad for AA but 2017 definitely a turnaround. The prices for the tables still are the best i've seen for cons I've tables at. The area in 2017 was in allentown, the area was abit unsafe because if you went too far from the main hotel area you'd end up in a some crappy areas. The surrounding con area was nice, food were in the hotel area and cheap.

The con layout was confusing panelwise but they learned from 2016 and made artist alley easier to find. They're learning from their mistakes and trying to do better, its a great con for newbies to aa and experienced aa tablers

A lot of issues
I did pretty decent at Saikou, but I think I was just lucky because almost everyone I talked to, AA and venders, did really terrible. Mostly not making the table cost back. It was a mess. They held the con in the middle of nowhere, so it was not all that busy. The staff were useless. When I registered they didn't even know where the AA was. The AA was in a separate building and it had no signs. Friday was totally dead. Saturday was okay. Sunday was pretty dead and everyone packed up early. There was no phone service or wifi. After the con, the staff were rude on Facebook and upset pretty much all artists. Definitely not going there again.
