Westchester Public Library Comic Con

Last year, they held this event next to a local farmers market and I made a killing despite the rain. They moved it inside this year (despite awesome weather) and I noticed it in my profits. With that said, this con is starting to grow and had a fantastic turnout from the local community. The library gears this convention HEAVILY towards kids, so a horror genre with any kind of violent or suggestive art is probably not going to fly here (just my opinion).

The ratings I give take into account that this is a small con. I think there were only 3 artists there, including myself. If you're an artist, it's probably not worth driving too far to attend. But if you're local, it's a great starter con and an easy weekend to stay close to home instead of making an early morning road trip.

Awesome cosplay costumes will keep families coming back next year for sure. At some point, they're going to outgrow their venue. They had a change in management at the library this year, and the new team handled this well. I just wish we got to be a part of the farmers market again.
