As other reviewers mentioned, the staff was very poor at communicating with vendors and guests, ignoring emails, not sending out tickets, not answering questions — and often not knowing answers when asked. They even revoked several badges from guests who publicly questioned their professionalism. The venue itself was overbooked (we overheard security claiming that it was more than a thousand people over capacity) and the line went out the door three hours in summer heat. Indoors, there was no AC. Cosplay meetups were overcrowded and poorly planned with cosplayers not having enough space to move around on a cramped floor shared with vendors.

Just rating the convention crowd and venue itself- a fun and profitable time for a 2 day con. However, the staff was inexcusably disorganized and lied to us several times about set-up timelines and proceedings. They were also completely absent from dealing with any problems that arose and often would not answer questions at all. The con opened late both days as a result of mismanagement, which cut into sales time and reflected poorly on all of us associated with the convention. Professionally, would not recommend working with these organizers. Would say, if applying to vend: brace for complications and you’ll probably enjoy the actual convention.

Did well here financially, crowd was great, but organizers are totally unprofessional. Do not answer questions, respond to emails, and are totally unorganized. A shame. Random layout for all vendors, must grab your own space. Wresting is a big thing here, people were body slamming next to artist tables.
