Taikai Con

This is a newer convention to Alaska; it’s less than five years old. Being a smaller convention, of course the attendance is not what vendors would like for it to be in order to make sales.

However, the few shows that have happened for Taikai Con put it on the right track for getting bigger and better. The current venue seems to be too small - regular growing pains for a newer convention. If the staff are able to find a better venue and are able to keep their prices affordable for not only vendors, but attendees as well, this event could gain a lot of traction and attract more of a crowd.
