Saturdays are always the busiest and most crowded, and the tickets for that day sell out fast, and the Cosplay Contest takes place during that day. Fortunately they posted the video of the whole contest on YouTube and the Popverse website for anyone who missed it, and will post videos of other contests, performances, and panels later on.
This Con is a hit or miss depending on the guest celebrities and Seattle's financial situation. For the vendors, I would recommend vending in ECCC instead of Sakura-Con. I would hope more comic creators and independent artists creating fanart of comic, sci-fi, and fantasy characters would vend there more than anime fan artists.

So I'll say as a human trying out shows, there was a lot of fun things to do after the show ended earlier in the day. Seattle is a great spot to have an event.
Why it was so awful was someone organizing the artists section for more famous artists to create lineups so long people obscured the view to see that I was even there and often couldn't sell much because the lineup prevented 2 of 3 days of me, my artwork, what I had to offer, anything.
I liked meeting other creators, but this was a disorganized mess. I tried emailing my issues with the show, got ignored, and got a lot of emails to return which I've ignored.
Comic cons are forgetting we pay for visibility at their event. If we don't have it, we head elsewhere and that's exactly what I did years ago and never looked back.
