Venue: The con used to be located in Brooklyn, but the first year I attended (which was 2018), they moved venues to the Sheraton in Times Square, Manhattan. I can't comment on the previous venue, though I've been told by many artists that the former was better. The Sheraton is located right in the heart of Times Square, which is busy with people practically 24/7. There are coffee shops and food places right across the street, which is good. Inside the hotel however, there's not many options. It's basically a hotel and conference room, not much else.
Layout: Standard rows of tables facing each other. One downside to their layout is they don't leave much of any room between tables in the back (maybe 2 feet room max behind each table), which basically means you and the people behind you are constantly stepping on and bumping into each other the entire weekend. It also means there's not much room for any behind the table displays if that's something you do.
Affordability: The table cost is a little high ($300 USD per table), considering the size of the table space. It is a very busy con though, so I would argue it's worth it.
Staff: I've only had excellent experience with the staff that run the con. Very good communication, very friendly and approachable.
Attendance: I was told last year wasn't as good as the year prior (likely due to the change in venue), but the attendance was still wild. It was one of the busiest cons I've ever been to, and that's saying a lot since it's only on its 4 or 5 year or so. The halls were full the entire duration of the con, even when panels were on.
In short, I highly recommend this con, especially if you are a gender or sexual minority artist! This con was made for you.
