Someone Cool
Best show.
I did this show in 2024 and in 2025. Amazing show specifically for Nintendo tribute art. Splatoon, Kirby and Pokémon are consistently hot. I was worried about the venue change from the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall to the Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall, but I actually did better in 2025. Highly recommended. Just note - a VERY hard show to get into. Artist Alley is extremely competitive, and I know very few artists who have done this show more than once, let alone gotten in to do it at all. You might have better luck getting a booth, if you don't make AA. Best of luck! <3

Expanding Way Too Fast
Tabled the year previous and the con was pretty alright if you were local or within a 4-6 hour drive. This past year though, there were a lot of growing pains and overall it was slower despite record numbers of attendees and a mostly packed hall. Layout overall left much to be desired. I would say I came out of this one with a slight decrease in revenue. Your mileage will vary with this one so make sure to plan accordingly and try to minimize expenses especially if you're going east to west coast. I personally would not travel that far for this one.

Stop overbooking artists and vendors
I heard such great things about this con but they oversold they amount of vendors/ artists to the point that no one seemed to do very well. All of the other artists I talked to said they made a fraction of their usual profit including myself. Not worth traveling out of state to, but If you’re local its worth it. Mid con at best. Hopefully they cut the amount of artists / vendors next year so people actually want to come back.

Will return
Crowd and sales were great. Friendly people and very well organized. I wish they rearrange the layout because I do not like conventions where artists and vendors share the same room. But overall, this one’s a really great convention to table and I’m glad to see it grow year after year.

Terrible Layout Planing
This was my second year doing this convention, the first time in 2018 it went great that I decided to come back in 2019. This year it was a disaster, AA was spread out all over the place. Some artist tables were in complete dead zones with absolutely no lighting. The 3 tables where I was located were at the end of the AA and facing the gaming area.
It was a terrible spot as barely any people came there, most people commented that they didn't even know there were more artists that way. The lights were turned off so they gaming area screens would be visible. I went and complained on Saturday about it and no one did anything. I went again on Sunday and they told me that they couldn't do anything because it would affect the gaming screens. Why have tables there then? Made no sense. I talked to the main light guy and all he did was turn on a lamp that was to the side behind the screens and it barely made any difference, They didn't even care.
I won't be coming back until they learn how to properly lay out the Artists.

This was my first year vending and attending Lvl Up Expo. Found out about this little gem of a con a bit late, so I had to sign up for a vendor's booth instead of artist alley. Check in was easy; I like that parking was only $5 a day. I read that dealer's hall and artist alley used to be separate? I'm glad that they had everything all together this year. Sales also did well too! I heard for some people it was slow, but for me personally, I still did pretty well. The crowd was also great and friendly and welcoming, as was staff. I'm glad this place has AC as opposed to some hot, parking garage artist alleys *coughAXcough*. I'm also glad the AA tables and vendor's tables come with so much space!
I guess my only gripes would be that I paid a lot more for a vendor's table but got the same space and setup as an artist alley table and that attendance didn't really seem to be 14k like they said. But eh, didn't bother me too much. Still made about as much as I would've at AX. Overall, I'll be back again! Thanks Lvl Up!

Always Incredible, 2016
I love this convention. I've been going for three years. The staff is incredible and lovable and are always willing to listen and help your situation if need be. Save for my first year, when they were small, I have had a great profiting two years, and I am excited for 2017. I do hope they get a better AA layout tho! They're changing it up every year to see what works. I admire that.

Amazing show!
Love love LOVE the Vegas crowd! Since I'm so close to Vegas, I do almost all the Vegas shows and this one had been one of my favorites! The crowd was huge, and the staff was awesome. I got moved the the dealer's hall last minute, after asking to be moved since one of my friends got moved. I think they were trying to fill out the dealer space.
The tables were huge and the crowd was awesome! I'll be booking myself a vendor table next year for sure!

Best Show This Year for Vegas
Amazing 2 day show this past weekend, had a large attendance, huge booth spaces in artist alley, nice staff. Made great sales, only downsides I noticed (altho they were also good for most people) is that some artists randomly got moved into the dealers hall, and some people were complaining about the 8ft tables so staff replaced them with 6ft. Which makes no sense to me, cuz it clearly stated 8 ft tables on the con website. Overall, awesome weekend and will definitelybe back next year.
